Plot: Pariah is a Bengali action thriller film that features a gothic interplay of light and shadow, akin to the good and evil in the film’s characters. The film is an ode to the innocent street dogs who daily suffer relentless cruelty from the common public, and more so when captured and taken to dog pounds.
Cast: The film stars Vikram Chatterjee, Angana Roy, Deboprasad Halder, Sreelekha Mitra, Ambarish Bhattacharya, and Apratim Chatterjee.
Director: Tathagata Mukherjee directed the film, which explores the concept of social outcasts, both on the human and the canine levels.
