এরই মধ্যে বাংলাদেশের আইসিটি ডিভিশনের মন্ত্রী জুনেইদ আহমেদ পালক জানিয়েছেন রাত আটটার মধ্যে ঢাকায় বিদুৎ সরবরাহ স্বাভাবিক হবে৷ রাত ৯টার মধ্যে চট্টগ্রাম সহ দেশের বাকি অংশে বিদ্যুৎ পরিষেবা স্বাভাবিক হবে বলে জানিয়েছেন ওই মন্ত্রী৷ সাধারণ মানুষকে ধৈর্য ধরতে এবং গুজব না ছড়াতে অনুরোধ করেছেন তিনি৷
