Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, this year’s application process hasn’t been announced yet. Last year the form distribution started on 3rd September and ended on 27th September. Students weren’t given the opportunity to attend the exam for the second time. Interested students are supposed to visit the official website www.ru.ac.bd in order to collect the application form. All the information and instructions will be provided there. The application fee is usually between tk. 726 to tk. 1254 differs based on the applied unit.

Interested candidates must be passed SSC or similar exams in 2020 or 2022 and HSC or similar exams in 2022 or 2020. Students from the Science section must have a CGPA of 3.50 at least with the 4th Subject in SSC & HSC both and combined CGPA of 8.00 with the 4th Subject in SSC & HSC. Commerce students need to have a minimum CGPA of 3.50 and combined CGPA of 7.50 in SSC & HSC both with 4th subject. Lastly, students from Arts are required to have a minimum CGPA of 3.00 and a Combined CGPA of 7.50 in SSC & HSC both with 4th subjects.
RU Admission Exam Marks Distribution
The exam will obtain 100 marks and the pass mark will be 40 except for the B unit. Students from the B unit have to attend 80 marks MCQ and 20 marks written exam. Candidates from A unit who are interested in Music, Arts, and Dramatics have to participate in a practical test after their MCQ exam.
