Vivo Y55 with Snapdragon 680 Launching Soon in Nepal.Vivo is soon to launch the recently announced Vivo Y55 in Nepal. This is a 4G variant, which is different from the Vivo Y55 5G released earlier this year in China.

Vivo Y55 Overview


The Vivo Y55 has a plastic body with a rectangular camera bump on the back. The camera island has two huge camera circles and a flash.

The back resists fingerprint smudges. The power and volume buttons are on the right side of the device. The bottom houses a 3.5mm headphone jack, a mic, a USB-C port, and a speaker.

There is a SIM card tray on the top, which also has a dedicated microSD card slot.


It has a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The brand has not officially disclosed the refresh rate of the display. We think it is 60Hz.

The display has a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. The top and side bezels are minimal, whereas the bottom is slightly larger. The phone also features an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.


The Vivo Y55 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G processor. It’s built on a 6nm process node and has an Octa-core (4×2.4 GHz Kryo 265 Gold & 4×1.9 GHz Kryo 265 Silver) CPU and Adreno 610 GPU.

The Snapdragon 680 is a decent processor that powers multiple devices in 2022 including Redmi Note 11Realme 9i, and Samsung Galaxy A23, among others. The processor is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.


It has a 50MP main camera accompanied by a 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. The front has a 16MP selfie camera.

Battery and OS

5000mAh battery fuels the device. It supports 44W fast charging. Realme claims that it can charge to 50% in just 28 minutes.
