Veer remembers his pals warning him that his rockstar reputation would be ruined and that Keerat would not marry him at this time. Keerat is reassured by Sahiba that Veer would not be allowed to wed her. Veer threatens suicide if they end their marriage, saying that it cannot be dissolved at any cost. After dousing himself in kerosene, he strikes a match. His relatives beg him not to do it. Veer threatens to burn himself if they dare to approach him. Family members concur. He makes a threat to marry Keerat and take him to a gurudwara.
