Anupama 14th February 2024 Written Episode Update
What is Shruti doing, Anuj queries? Anupama is saved by a person who warns her to use caution. Anupama expresses gratitude and regrets. Is Shruti okay, Anuj inquires? If you had been at my residence back then, would you have been OK, Shruti queries. I’m not sure what to tell you, says Anuj. Shruti adds, “I’m going to be mad and let it out.” She questions why you withheld information about Anupama from me as well as why neither Anupama nor Aadhya have informed me. When I connect the dots, she claims, I see I am a fool for wanting to celebrate my birthday with you when it may be my last. To calm her, Anuj gives her a hug. Aadhya believes Mummy is not at the restaurant and that if she is with Anuj, she won’t abandon them because they hurt Shruti’s feelings. Anupama and Kinjal clash. Asking what occurred, Kinjal notices that she is weeping.
In the open diner sit Anuj and Shruti. He places a candle on the pastry, lights it, and requests that she make a wish. Shruti tears it apart. Are you going to abandon me, she asks? Anuj is returned. Shruti gives him a hug.
Dimpy grins as she reads Titu’s note. Vanraj queries what transpired. Without saying anything, Dimpy takes a sip of water. Kinjal queries Anupama. Anupama says, “Shruti came there and how she will handle this pain.” Anuj and I met today and were managing our suffering. She asks why life feels the need to put us in front of each other and claims I had left his life after realising I wasn’t right for him. She explains why fate brought them together after she had parted from them. She claims that she doesn’t want Aadhya and Shruti to be punished arbitrarily and that I got in the way of Anuj and Shruti’s blissful marriage. She regrets bringing their life into disarray. She’s not to blame herself, Kinjal asks. Anuj apologises for causing her such suffering on her birthday and for hurting her so much on her day of birth. He claims that while you are aware of everything about my history and that he didn’t want to harm you, he waited for your birthday to pass so as not to cause a problem. He argues that I shouldn’t have met Anupama on this particular day, but what can I do? I’ve been waiting for her to come around for five years, so when she phoned, I couldn’t help myself and all of my feelings for her spilled out. He makes a vow to never withhold anything from you. She shouldn’t assume anything bad about Anupama, he adds, adding that I had her meet me even if she didn’t want to. He claims that at the meeting for the food festival, I just learned that Joshi behen is Anupama. He claims that because Aadhya used to despise Anu and that’s why I didn’t adopt Anupama’s name, I should have informed you that I had been living my life for her for the last five years. She claims that Choti Anu was Aadhya’s name, and because of her intense dislike for Anupama, she went by Aadhya. He claims that I was self-centered and unable to stop myself when Anupama phoned. This is love, she claims. Indeed, Anuj argues, that is love.
Anupama informs Kinjal that she cannot face Shruti and will not remain here. Kinjal remarks that you came here to work and inquires as to why you would abandon the people and such a wonderful position. She begs him to let go of the past and move on. You don’t have to travel far, she claims, to be apart from him.
Anuj claims he couldn’t let her go from his heart and that, while he forgot about her when they were alone, he didn’t forget about her in public. He adds, “I know that I can only love Anu; I don’t know if that’s good or bad.” He apologises. Shruti says Anupama is really fortunate. Anuj claims that while we have each other’s affection, we do not have each other’s support or unity, hence we are both unlucky. She claims that throughout our time together, we were preoccupied with finding solutions to the many issues we encountered. He claims that our romantic luck is similar. Not any more than me, replies Shruti.
Summary: When Aadhya declares that she is prepared to accept Anupama, Shruti asks Anuj whether he would hold Anupama’s hand. Shruti later approaches Anupama and says, “AK/Anuj.”Your AK, says Anupama. I’m not sure whether he’s mine, Shruti says, adding that you are the one who completes him, therefore we were lacking.
